Hello,

I am Charlie D. Frost, Sr., your School Board member for District 4. It is with honor to have the opportunity to represent and serve you in this capacity. Who would have ever imagined on the first day of school, sitting in Ms. Holt's first grade class at Springfield Elementary, now Gretna Elementary School, an eager student, ready to learn, would one day become a school board member. I count it a blessing to be able to work in the Gadsden County School District. The dedication and life long experiences I received from so many educators during my years at Carter-Parramore Middle, Quincy Jr. High, and then on to graduation at James A. Shanks High School, prepared me for this day. I never would have dreamed nor thought that I would have the privilege to represent students and make sound decisions in the same school system that educated me.

In my life, I have invested in the stock markets, made money and lost money. However, my greatest investment has been in the students of Gadsden County Schools. This is the place where I have felt most fulfilled and have always made my greatest gains, the students. My heart over flows with unspeakable joy when I see former students that I have mentored, now today, employed as supervisors, directors, maintenance workers, managers of department stores, police officers, doctors and head football coaches. My sincere desire for our students is to continue improvements in the learning process and embrace them with good character, behavior, morals and promote parental support and participation.

As the bible states "Am I my brothers keeper?"  You had better believe it, I am.
