Gerald A. Gay III, Director

Mr. Gay has been employed by the Gadsden County School District for 25 years. He is a native of Quincy and has served the district in many capacities including teacher, coach, athletic director and high school administrator. His love for the students of Gadsden County will translate into a mission that is always striving for safe, efficient and reliable transportation to and from school and activities. The transportation department takes great pride in knowing that we are, “Transporting Gadsden’s Future”.

 Mission Statement:

"Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation to our students both to and from school and their activity programs. Our desire is to provide students with a positive start and finish to their school day. We seek to provide our drivers and aides with skills to be productive workers with a commitment to meet the ever changing challenges of school bus and student safety. In order to accomplish our mission, staff, parents and students must work in a collaboration of effort and trust with open communication."
